at Killarney Golf Club. Situated adjacent to Lough Lein in the midst
of beautiful countryside, this course is a good test for golfers
of all levels with well positioned bunkers and water hazards. This

the house provides a glimpse of the lifestyle of the gentry of Killarney
in the 19th century. The cellar area once used by the servants is
now a workshop where craftsmen give demonstrations in weaving, pottery
making and spinning to name a few. The gardens are world-renowned
for their collections of azalea and rhododendron, there is also

golfers from around the world. After your golf perhaps visit the
Ring of Kerry. This naturally stunning region offers one of Ireland's
most popular sceninc drives, with an impressive combination of mountain,
bogland, and coastal scenery. With very few commercial tourist stops
the Ring of Kerry's natural wonders and views are an attraction
unto themselves, including Ireland's four largest mountains, Carrantuohill,
Beenkeragh, Caher, and Carrautonhill. Stop to see Staigue Fort,
a large stone circular structure, reputed to date back to 1000 B.C.

stand 700 feet over the Atlantic, offering views of the Aran Islands
(on a clear day!). Later head north and tour County Clare's lunar-like
Burren region, a huge expanse of land with an incredible array of
landscapes, from potholes and rocks to valleys and streams. After

Day 7: Killarney
Town and Adare
This morning head to nearby Lahinch Golf Club for
a round of golf on Lahinch's Old Course. Rugged and uncompromising
terrain offers a stern test of golf with the notorious Klondyke
par fifth hole having a blind shot to the green. Non-golfers may
head to Bunratty and visit Bunratty Castle, a medieval fortress
that was built in 1425, and is now open for tours and medieval banquets.
Next to the castle is Bunratty Folk Park, an exhibit giving a great
insight in to 19th century village life. On your journey back to
Lahinch perhaps stop at the market town of Ennis. Perhaps visit
Ennis friary. Founded in 1250 for the Franciscans, this friary soon
became one of Western Europe's major seats of learning in medieval
