Day 2: Failte! Welcome to Dublin's Fair City

Arrive Dublin Airport and transfer by private driver to The Four Seasons Dublin for a 2-night stay. After some rest, take a look around Dublin City. Stroll through St. Stephens Green, the finest Georgian Square in Europe. Day 3: The Pulse of Ireland

This morning enjoy a Private Dublin City Tour. Visit St. Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin's oldest Christian site, dating back to the time of St. Patrick. See the Book of Kells in Trinity College In the afternoon perhaps explore Dublin on your own. Go to Smithfield and visit Ceol - the Irish Traditional Music Centre, an interactive museum dedicated to Irish music with a variety of high-tech exhibits and presentations, including a video exhibit on Irish dancing. Next see the Old Jameson Distillery, where you will see the birthplace of some of Ireland's finest. You may decide to have lunch in Smithfield or perhaps back in Temple Bar. In the evening perhaps a show at the Abbey Theater, or enjoy dinner and live Irish entertainment at the Jury's Cabaret.

Day 4: The Garden Of Ireland

This morning pick up your car in Dublin City Centre or meet your driver/guide and begin your tour of Ireland by driving south through Wicklow, the "Garden of Ireland". Visit the Powerscourt Gardens and Waterfall to see one of Ireland's most beautiful estates, featuring impressive and eclectic gardens and the highest falls in all of Ireland and the British Isles. Continue to Glendalough, the "Valley of the Two Lakes", a sixth century monastic ruin, set in a majestic mountain haven. Continue to Thomastown, County Kilkenny for a 1-night stay at Mount Juliet. Situated on over 1,500 acres, this luxurious estate boasts an equestrian centre, a championship golf course, two superb restaurants, elegant accommodation, and the best in service. Enjoy dinner tonight in the hotel.

Day 5: Irish Castles

This morning tour Kilkenny City, Ireland's best example of a medieval city, which still has a lot of 13th and 14th century features. Visit the dominating sight of Kilkenny Castle. Situated on the River Nore, this intimidating castle dates back to 1192, and carries with it a great deal of interesting history. Across the street from the Castle is Kilkenny Design Centre. Originally the coach house and stables for Kilkenny Castle, this building is now home to some of the best designers and craftspeople in Ireland. Later drive through County Cork and stop in Blarney to see Blarney Castle, where a kiss of the Blarney Stone is said to impart eloquence. Drive through incredibly scenic West Cork, taking in the views that have made Ireland famous for its natural beauty. Arrive in Kenmare, County Kerry and check into the Park Hotel Kenmare for a 2-night stay. Day 6: The Kingdom of Kerry

Spend today discovering the breathtaking Ring of Kerry. This naturally stunning region offers one of Ireland's most popular scenic drives, with in impressive combination of mountain, bogland, and coastal scenery. With very few commercial tourist stops the Ring of Kerry's natural wonders and views are an attraction unto themselves, including Ireland's four largest mountains, Carrantuohill, Beenkeragh, Caher, and Carrautonhill. Stop to see Staigue Fort, a large stone circular structure, reputed to date back to 1000 B.C. Make a stop at the Skellig Heritage Centre and see how life existed on the Skellig Mountains since the 6th-century. For dinner tonight perhaps venture into the beautiful town of Kenmare and try out one of the town's outstanding restaurants.

Day 7: Killarney Town and Adare

Get an early rise today for a full day of touring. Take the scenic route to Killarney Town through the Killarney National Park, seeing the breath-taking Lady's View and some of Ireland's most treasured terrain. In Killarney see Muckross House and Gardens and perhaps take a horse and jaunting cart ride. Continue north through the picturesque village of Adare and through Limerick City to County Clare. Perhaps stop at Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, where 19th century Ireland still lives. Continue north to Newmarket-on-Fergus and check into Dromoland Castle for a one-night stay. This world-renowned luxury hotel is bejeweled a fairytale castle on a vast estate, offering excellent service, fine dining, and a championship golf course. Tonight enjoy fine dining in the castle.

Day 8: Clare Coast

Drive through the unique Burren Region this morning, a huge expanse of land with an incredible array of landscapes, from potholes and rocks to valleys and streams. Continue to the impressive Cliffs of Moher. The West of Ireland's most visited natural wonder, these dramatic cliffs stand 700 feet over the Atlantic, offering views of the Aran Islands (on a clear day!). Later, head to Cong, County Mayo for a 2-night stay at Ashford Castle. This luxurious castle hotel, situated on Lough Corrib is steeped in centuries of history and still retains its original elegance while providing an extensive estate that features an equestrian centre, a 9-hole golf course, and lake fishing. Enjoy fine dining tonight in the castle.

Day 9: Connemera

Today perhaps take the "Quiet Man" Tour, and see some of the areas where the famous John Wayne movie was filmed on the Ashford estate. Enjoy the Castle's estate or perhaps tour the wilds of Connemara, western Galway, and one of Ireland's few remaining Irish-speaking regions. Visit Kylemore Abbey, a castle-like edifice set against a dramatic mountain backdrop. Drive through the Connemara National Park to the coastal town of Clifden, the capital of Connemara. Here you will find many friendly pubs and interesting shops. Return to castle later and tonight perhaps enjoy dinner in Cong and later enjoy live entertainment in the castle's pub.

Day 10: Coast toCoast

Today head east from Ashford through the centre of Ireland towards Co. Kildare. Perhaps stop to visit Clonmacnoise, an ancient monastic ruin dating back to the 6th century. Continue east to Straffan Co. Kildare and check into The K Club for a two-nights stay. This beautiful resort has great leisure and sporting facilities, and is to play host to the Ryder Cup in 2006. The centerpiece to this resort is the elegantly restored country house, which offers nothing but the best in service, cuisine and comfort. Spend the afternoon relaxing in the splendor of the K Club. Perhaps have dinner in the hotel this evening or perhaps sample some local cuisine in one of Kildares fine restaurants.

Day 11: Irish National Stud

Today perhaps visit the Irish National Stud, the breeding ground of some of Ireland's most famous horses. Visitors are welcome to watch the horses being exercised and groomed. Admission to the National Stud also includes admission to the adjacent Japanese Gardens. Laid out between 1906 and 1910 the gardens, which are considered among the finest in Europe include cherry blossoms, bonsai trees and other exotic plantings. Later return to the K Club and say goodbye to your new friend and driver. Enjoy dinner in the hotel this evening.
